About DAROSE CATTERY

DAROSE CATTERY is a small boutique cattery situated on the ocean in Harbor, Oregon. It is owned by Rosalie and David Dieter who raise their kittens and cats as members of their extended family. The cats and kittens have freedom to indoor exploration plus bird watching as seagulls, blue jays, and small song birds land on numerous birdfeeders and decks as seen from walls of glass.  The kittens are raised to be well socialized and are very affectionate.  They begin imaging from 2 to 7 weeks, so they are familiar with grooming and baths. They are confined to their sleeping quarters at night and are ready for bed after a long day of fun. Of course, they have all their shots, are wormed and vet checked. They are all happy, healthy, hardy Purr Babies. Darose Cattery is CFA , ACFA and TICA registered and all kittens are purebred and will be litter registered in one or more associations. We prefer to sell as pets but breeding rights are available. We want to make certain our kittens find the perfect match with their new humans.

Rosalie began by raising Persian show cats in Minnesota and traveled extensively with her cameos and smokes throughout the Midwest. Her shell cameo female earned two separate Quad Grand Championships, one in CFA and one in ACFA.  When the Dieters moved to Hawaii, they took a large number of their top cats through quarantine and raised several Best Kittens in Show. After many years in Hawaii with limited space and restrictions for breeding cats, lack of cat shows and other contributing factors, they moved to Lake Tahoe, Nevada, and became active in the real estate and development business. The cat breeding was put on hold. Following years in Lake Tahoe and Las Vegas, Nevada, they relocated to the coastal town of Brookings, Oregon. Recently, after over 18 years of breeding kittens, once again they decided to go back to breeding. Currently, they work with Persians, Himalayans, Ragamuffins, and Munchkin/Minuets, specializing in bi-colors and white, although, it is fascinating to view the wide palette of colors and the unique patterns these beautiful kittens are born with.
